"Come unto me and ye shall partake of the fruit of the tree of life..."
Alma 5:24

Why are the Portland tickets priced as they are?

With Mine Own Hand is an original production created with the sole purpose of exciting interest in the Book of Mormon. None of the company, including creators, cast or crew will be personally profiting from this production. Consider yourself a supporter as you purchase your tickets.

Ticket revenue from the 2007 Workshop production exactly covered the cost to the stakes with no residual and no profit to any person or organization involved. Professional elements have been added to the 2008 Portland/Provo production (including the professional facility) which has increased both the quality and cost of the production.

Fine live theatre, especially musical theatre, is extraordinarily expensive to produce and even more expensive to create, which is a major reason why new Broadway musicals, let alone LDS oriented musicals, are such a rarity. Even a sell-out run will not cover the actual costs of this show.

Though you may consider yourself a supporter as you purchase your tickets, we encourage you to include an additional contribution which will provide tickets to missionaries and their guests. Thank you! Spread the word!
